Longwood Homecoming - The Tight Slacks

Local Call is a 6-piece Alternative Rock Band from Lynchburg, Virginia formed in 2021. Affectionally known in their hometown as “The Dad Band”, they are a group of dads that decided to form a band over a few drinks at a backyard neighborhood party. They play a wide blend of covers ranging from The Grateful Dead to Tom Petty to Sublime to Third Eye Blind in their own unique instrumentation including acoustic guitar, violin, mandolin, banjo, bass, electric guitar, and drums. They have a full slate of original music as well, and released their first full-length studio album titled “Some Days” in 7/2024. They have been performing across Central Virginia including a recent sold out show at the Lynchburg Academy of the Arts' Music Hall and can't wait to bring their high energy shows to a city near you!
